The Certificate IV in Human Resources qualification allows you to spread your wings by having subjects across all HR functions allowing you to have your existing skill area recognised, while learning about the other key HR functions.
Both Certificate 3 and Certificate 4 courses in Workplace Health and Safety are designed for employees with responsibility for safety management in the workplace. Certificate 3 suits a Safety Officer reporting to a safety manager; while Certificate 4 would be more appropriate for a safety manager.
If you already have past experience in a HR job and are looking at the next step into a HR managers role, try the Diploma of HR as it looks at the management of the HR function.
If you are a Team Leader seeking to improve your recruitment or performance management skills consider Certificate IV in Leadership and Management and select HR subjects as an elective.
It's great to have goals, but it’s unlikely that you will secure a HR role or specialist WHS role without past work experience. Therefore a certificate 3 qualification with a HR or safety subject as an elective will be the best option so that you get a broader job-ready qualification.

Students enrolled in the Diploma of Human Resources Management - BSB50615 must complete their course by 25 September 2019.

The new qualification is BSB50618 and has been deemed equivalent to the superseded qualification, BSB50615.
Enrolments into BSB50618 is available now to private students.
Trainees and other government subsidised students can still enrol in the superseded qualification, BSB50615 because we will automatically transition you to the replacement qualification at no charge, once it is recognised in your state.
