A massive part of ACCM College's ongoing success is our people.
Our Student Training Advisers are the heart of our student support and the core of our business.
It begins with the recruitment process
Many Registered Training Organisations (RTO) hire professional trainers who have been delivering training for years, but have not necessarily been in the industries they support.
ACCM has taken a different approach.
We hire staff with years of industry experience directly from industry, and capitalise on their passion for training and teach them how to be great trainers.
This ensures our staff have current industry experience that not only allows them to build stronger rapport with your Trainees, but provide relevant and meaningful industry insights during our support and assessment processes.
Building better trainers
ACCM College typically enrols new staff through the most current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment program with an external RTO and then shows them how those skills apply supporting our students at the Australian College.
Then, regardless of their past experience and prior qualifications, we have every staff member complete the exact qualifications they will be supporting here at ACCM.
This means our Student Advisers can speak at length and in detail about our materials and assessment activities with your Trainees.
There is literally no question about our materials and assessments your Trainees could ask that we can't help with.
Ongoing Professional Development
A foundational requirement of Vocational Education and Training (VET) training is to remain industry current.
Our Advisers remain current in their industries through our ongoing Professional Development programs to ensure we are always on top of and aware of the latest changes in your industry.
Additionally, our Compliance Team reaches out to members of each industry we support monthly to stay on top of trends, changes and what's coming next.
