Mortgage Broking Qualification Update

On the 26th January 2022 the Certificate IV Mortgage Broking qualification was updated to FNS40821 Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.

This update is to accommodate the removal of one core unit - FNSSAM501 Sell financial products and services.

As there are no other changes to the qualification - and students who have completed that core can still count it as an elective, there is no need to transition students to the newer qualification unless there is a specific reason to do so.

In addition, the updated qualification has not triggered our usual major qualification review process. The last major review for this qualification stream occurred only a year ago for the previous qualification FNS40820. Therefore in the absence of any other indicators it is felt that a major review at this time is not warranted.
