Supply Chain Operations Qualification Updates

Thank you to the employers who have provided us with their input into the newer supply chain qualifications, and our delivery methodology.

Based on the input received ACCM will be offering the Warehousing Operations specialisation as well as the non-specialist qualification program. Our decision to not offer the Logistics Operations was based on the complexity of remote assessment for loading/ unloading and securing cargo – which are both compulsory units under that specialisation.

Other feedback has reinforced that the use of WebclassM to deliver learning content and assessment instructions has been a winner.

In addition 80% of employers felt that the course content was of sufficient depth (and volume of learning) and the assessment strategies were appropriate.

The requested improvements included: more detailed information on the dangers of loads that were being lifted, lowered or suspended in workplaces; and the dangers associated with incorrect use of tensioners. This additional content has been approved to be included in the next version of that qualification on WebclassM.

A number of units of competency were updated with specific changes to performance evidence. These updates have been implemented and the updated version of these subjects will be validated / moderated later in the year to identify any adjustments.

The new qualifications released in late November 21 are

TLI30321 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations and

TLI20421 Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations

and will be available for ACCM enrolments in January 2022
