2020 NSW Regional Training Awards
The 2020 NSW Regional Training Awards presentations are just around the corner, and like most things in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has had an effect on how they will run. But, in true VET style, the regional committees have ensured that, regardless of the situation, the finalists' hard work and dedication will be publicly recognised through virtual award ceremonies for each region.
The virtual ceremonies are an opportunity for students and trainees, their families, friends, and colleagues to share in the celebration regardless of where they are. The events will be streamed live from the NSW Facebook page and you can share in the experience and show your support for your local finalists by clicking the relevant link below and joining the festivities.

- Western NSW - 1st of July 2020
- Central and Northern Sydney - 24th of June 2020
- North Coast and Mid North Coast - 30th of June 2020
- Riverina - 29th of June 2020
- Hunter - 22nd of June 2020
- Southern and South Western Sydney - 25th of June 2020
- Illawarra & South East - 23rd of June 2020
- New England - 26th of June
- Western Sydney & Blue Mountains - 2nd of July 2020
- Central Coast - 3rd of July 2020
During the ceremonies, finalists will be recognised in the following categories:
- Trainee of the Year
- Apprentice of the Year
- Vocational Student of the Year
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander of the Year
- School Based Apprentice/Trainee of the Year
- VET Teacher/Trainer of the Year
- VET in Schools Student of the Year
