The new Accounting Qualifications are Here!

On 14 June, the latest updates to the FNS30317 Certificate III in Accounts Administration and the FNS40217 Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping we finalised and approved at the National Level.

ACCM had let our students and employers know this change was coming back in September 2021 and also advised of some concerns we had up-channeled about the new qualification structure.

We are very pleased that our suggestion to not make the BSBTEC404 Use digital technologies to collaborate in a work environment was heard and did not make it onto the final version.

Consultation and collaboration work!

Changes to the Certificate III were minimal and mainly consist of updating to newer versions of the Units.

For the FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, the biggest changes were the additional of onenew core units:

  • FNSACC414 Prepare financial statements for non-reporting entities

ACCM is now in the process of finalising our new programs in these two qualifications that are critical across all industries.

ACCM's new Accounting programs will be live sometime in August for private enrolments, as state funding for Traineeships will likely take a bit longer.
