Trainer of Choice in Financial Services Traineeships

Trainer of Choice 783x400

2016 Year to Date Update

Our traineeship registration in finance in NSW in 2016 are expected to flatten off now as employers have slowed employment of entry level / certificate III level staff.

The volume of total finance students is however on trend with employers recognising the opportunity for subsidised training for non-trainee staff under the 2016 Smart and Skilled new options; and also opportunities under this program and traineeships for higher level certificate 4 courses. Contact us if you aren’t aware of this new opportunity.

The CPD and Tier 2 courses are still showing significant growth and high levels of annual re-enrolment. This may reflect the value-add that the program offers.

Across all states and territories we have solid growth and remain the RTO of choice in this field.

2015 – New Records

We don’t believe it – but the data doesn’t lie… we had 199 traineeship registrations in Financial Services in NSW  in 2015; in a year known across the industry as a challenging one with the implementation issues surrounding the new funding structures.

The even better news is that we have been rewarded with on-going customer loyalty; and have brought on some new clients from the financial services sector.   [table id=11 /]   The College CPD programs to address ASIC RG206 and our Tier 2 program to address ASIC RG146 also continue to thrive.

Given we have a talented pool of staff, who between them have over 100 years of career life in financial services roles, its little surprise that we are, by far, the most successful NSW RTO in the specialist field of Financial Services traineeships.

For the past 3 years the College has been the largest and most consistent traineeship provider by a significant margin in both Certificate 3 and Certificate 4 in Financial Services. These qualifications continue with strong demand in 2015 and are supported by our latest RG206 and Compliance CPD programs. Our staff profiles show why we are regarded as experts in this field, with College staff having a long and proud background in the sector.

The following data (Source: State Training Services Training Fact Finder) shows the extent of the Colleges dominance in this specialist field.

The keys to our success are: trainer backgrounds in financial services; internally developed course materials that are kept up to date with industry changes; an appreciation of the industry compliance needs; staying on top of ASIC regulatory guide requirements; engagement with clients to offer programs with the flexibility to meet their needs; and we are proud of the quality in what we do.
